Colors and dimensions: We make every effort to manufacture our products to match as closely as possible every detail and color to those that appear on the site. However, actual colors may slightly vary due to the nature of materials used. Since all the pieces are handmade of natural materials we cannot guarantee that the actual items you receive will be 100% identical to those shown in our online catalog. While we do our best to insure identity of shipped items to the sample shown on picture, color/shade or size may slightly vary.
Privacy: We respect our customers' privacy and do not make their names or e-mail addresses available to other organizations. From time to time you may receive e-mails from us with information on new products or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails from us, please let us know by contacting us via "contact us" feature. Please provide us with your exact name and e-mail address and we will have your name removed from our e-mail list.

Delivery: The sale of an item starts after acceptance of the order with a confirmation sent by Castaways Design via e-mail. The orders are processed in the first come first serve basis. Orders normally shipped out within 30 days (your credit card will be charged 1 day prior to shipping. Sometimes request for immediate delivery can be accommodated. It is possible that the item displayed on the website is sold out and temporary unavailable - in such case delivery time may be delayed. We will inform you via e-mail and/or offer you an alternative items. Since we do not charge your credit card until the day before we ship your order out, there will be no charges or out of stock items.
Minimum order and order charges: Castaways Design requires a minimum purchase of USD/EUR 350 per order. For smaller orders we charge a handling fee of USD/EUR 10. Freight charges are not included in the prices shown. Freight costs depend on the weight of the total order and the destination. The approximate weight and postal charges are indicated on our site.
Refund Policy: Satisfaction Guaranteed or 30 day money back. If you are for some reason not satisfied with our product we will refund you 100% cost of returned merchandise within 30 days (minus Shipping and Handling).
Damaged goods: You are obliged to check the status of goods received from Castaways Design. If goods are damaged in transit you need to notify us via e-mail to the following address Castawaysdesign@msn.com within seven (7) calendar days after receiving the items.
Please keep in mind that without timely notification we will not be able to accept any returns for repair or credit. If a design or production defect is discovered over time for certain styles Castaways Design, once aware, will deal with such incidents as it sees appropriate, these regulations notwithstanding.
Payments: Your order can only be accepted if your credit card number is on file with Castaways Design LLC. If Castaways Design LLC does not have the credit card details of the credit card you would like to use for this purchase you are requested to provide the current and correct details by using this form credit card sheet and send it to us by fax 1.973.692.0385). Without credit card information we cannot and will not process your order.
Once we receive authorization from your credit card company for the total of the order including freight charges and the handling fee (if applicable), your goods will be sent to you as soon as possible. Orders with a specified later delivery date will thus only be processed and charged close to that later date. Again, this might lead to out-of-stock articles.
Sales Tax: Prices are shown as-is (excluding freight, handling fee and import duties if and where applicable). Sales Tax will be calculated if your business resides in the state of NJ. European buyers may needed to pay VAT Tax if applicable.
Warranty: Once it has been established that goods arrived in good shape all products are covered by a limited warranty (normal wear and tear excluded) provided the goods have been handled and/or worn appropriately. Postal charges for goods send to be repaired under warranty are at buyers expense; Castaways Design LLC pays for return charges. Please make sure that all items are properly packed. |
